Schtop press...

ActionAid’s national campaign to expose brewer SABMiller’s alleged tax dodging in poor countries went live at the end of November. Designed by Neo, the Tax Justice campaign featured on and offline activity spoofing the SABMiller-owned Grolsch brand, including the famous Schtop commercials.
The campaign, timed to coincide with the publication of Actions Aid’s Calling Time report into the brewer’s tax activity in Africa and other developing nations, included several national press ads and a high-profile door stepping event at SABMiller’s HQ in London featuring placards designed by Neo.
The SABMiller exposé, which is enjoying plenty of coverage in both the mainstream and industry media, is part of a long-term campaign by ActionAid to expose the tax avoidance practices of some multinationals and the impact this can have on the developing countries in which they operate.
