EIRIS are an independent not-for-profit research and advice organisation. They work out the social, environmental and ethical performance of companies so that people like us can invest sustainably. What was needed was a way of presenting this complex information in plain English, so that people could choose their financial products knowing all the facts. An ethical finance comparison site, if you like.

We created and built yourethicalmoney.org – a brand new type of comparison site designed to make ethical finance easy. Not many people enjoy ploughing through lots of confusing facts and figures, so we worked closely with EIRIS to turn stacks of intricate data into easily digestible material. Interactive guides on topics such as ethical banking, insurance and child trust funds were included to give people extra background information on the subject. And we even added a jargon buster for good measure.

The result was a clear-cut, no-nonsense website that’s helping change the way people think about and find financial products. Everyone now has the tools to find more sustainable credit cards and mortgages or even navigate to the greenest pension. Which means everyone can make informed, responsible decisions that help them to invest their money ethically.
