True Energy and Bright Light Solar were two separate brands with one shared belief – that smart, sustainable energy technology can improve lives and save the planet. Their parent company wanted to bring the two brands together under the one name of True Energy to create a unified business that could change the way people powered their homes and workplaces all over the world. What was needed was a brand to reposition them as such and a sub-brand for their latest product innovation – a refrigerator powered by a unique solar cooling technology.

When positioned simply as a provider of renewable energy equipment, True Energy were in the most crowded part of the market. When positioned as technology innovators, they could be leaders. So we set about creating brands for both True Energy the company and Sure Chill the technology, positioning True Energy as a global sustainable technology pioneer and Sure Chill as the must-have technology for anyone wanting a more sustainable way to keep their products cool - whether cans of coke or life-saving vaccines.

We rolled out the new True Energy brand and Sure Chill sub-brand on a new corporate website, separate Sure Chill microsite, brochures, and event collateral. We also developed and delivered the PR strategy for the global media launch of True Energy and Sure Chill. The result was over 200 pieces of press coverage, including a five minute broadcast piece for the Associated Press, an increase in web traffic of over 100% and a strong profile that’s helping garner interest and sales leads from all over the world.
