Uniting Against the Lobbying Bill
You don’t see much of Neo’s work featured on Conservative Home.
This however is the result of our current collaboration with 38 Degrees, who have been mobilising resistance against the Lobbying Bill. That bill, being debated by the House of Lords today, could restrict the abilities of many charities, NGOs and pressure groups from speaking out in public on political matters in the year running up to a general election. That’s why groups as diverse as Oxfam, the Countryside Alliance and the Christian Institute are campaigning for it to disappear.
The full-page ads taken out today in the Times, Daily Telegraph and Guardian are designed to ensure that the upper house is aware of the breadth and intensity of opposition. For the latest developments, following the #lobbyingbill on Twitter.
